- Short: MUIfied ASL replacement (68020+ OS3+ MUI3.3+)
- Author: flavio@iestn.inet.it (Flavio Stanchina)
- Uploader: flavio@iestn.inet.it (Flavio Stanchina)
- Type: util/libs
- Replaces: util/libs/MUI-ASL*
- Requires: 68020+ OS3+ MUI3.3+
- Version: 42.4
-
- The ambitious aim of MUI-ASL is to put a good looking, highly configurable
- user interface into ASL, giving many benefits to innumerable programs.
-
- This is the fourth release of MUI-ASL. This release corrects some problems
- found in 42.3ß and features an Installer script: therefore, this is to be
- considered the first production release of MUI-ASL.
-
- This release features the long-awaited and heavily requested localization.
- Please read the file "Locale/Locale.readme" for more information.
-
- The overwhelming feedback I received after the previous releases convinced
- me that I'm doing something good. Thanks to all those who wasted their time
- writing mails that described misbehaviours and asked for new features. BTW,
- sorry if sometimes I didn't reply quickly, but I got really a lot of mails
- and I couldn't implement requests *and* reply in reasonable time. ;)
-
- The installation script renames your "asl.library" to "asl.library, orig",
- so that in case of problems, you can restore your original "asl.library".
- If you prefer, you can also copy the files by hand:
-
- Libs/asl.library to LIBS:
- Libs/MUI/#?.mcc to MUI:Libs/MUI/
- Locale/Catalogs/#? to LOCALE:Catalogs/
- Help/English/MUI-ASL.guide to HELP:english/ (optional)
-
- (remember to save your original asl.library under a different name)
-
- I really don't know if copying the ASL API is a Bad Thing and requires some
- form of authorization, but frankly I don't care.
-
- Ciao,
- Flavio Stanchina <flavio@iestn.inet.it>
